A Trip to France--Besançon



Rachel and I wake up to a beautiful French breakfast prepared by Rachel's former roommate, Naïma (Rachel spent 7 months in Besançon last year with the WMU Study Abroad program): café au lait or tea, juice, Frosted Flakes (even in France!), fresh bread and croissants with jam, etc.



Pont Battant: (R to L) Rachel and Marta (Marta's from Spain and is studying at the "Fac"; she hung out with the WMU crew last year). The shiny round building next to Marta's shoulder is the CLA where Western students who go on the Besançon program study.



La Grande Rue: Marta and Rachel walk up La Grande Rue, the main street of Besançon's downtown.
